So those of you paying attention will know that this weekend I was at the Leeds Sequential Arts Festival AKA Thought Bubble! It was the first time I’ve ever done this particular convention and it was a blast… Though I am regretting not booking today off work to recover.
Time for some shameless namedropping I hear you cry? Right, I was sharing a table with Rich Lillie and spent most of the weekend hanging out with him, Nick, Jane and James, David, Chris, Steve, Lem and Ian all of whom were a delight to spend time with. I was a bit gutted that I didn’t get out from behind my table at the convention itself and do the gushing fanboy routine (along with maybe getting a sketch or two into the bargain) but nevermind! I did manage to say hello to Aaron, Paul, Claude, Mike, Stacie and Dan amongst others.
I haven’t totted up how many things I sold yet but it’s always the people who make these things far more fun than they have any right to be so thanks to everyone who came along to my table, whether you bought anything or just had a chat with me!
Some of you might have noticed that the website has changed, something went wrong while I was out of town and I’ve had to update the theme which has lost me my logo amongst other things… I’m gonna try and put things back by the end of the week, along with updating the links section and sifting through the business cards I got whilst away!
Sorry this is kind of breif but I’m already pushing the limits of my lunchbreak so I best get back to work! Thanks again to everyone who came out to the con and the guys who organised it… I can’t wait for the next one!
