And that concludes Cheezar’s contribution to the website for now… how are people liking the new background design by the way? More tweaks to the website are on their way! Issue Five is still being scripted/thumbnailed/screwed up/thrown away/restarted so I’ll have to think of something else to update with!
I was at The Thing last Saturday and had a great time! I was sat between Mr Aaron Smurph Murphy (A.K.A The Sales Patter-naut) and Claude (who took great delight in the opportunity to yell at a room full of people that the show had ended) and who in turn was sitting next to the very quiet but very talented Ms Josceline Fenton. After selling a bunch of stuff, enjoying taking part in the Dinosawus sticker scheme masterminded by Ms Lizz Luney and having a generally comicky time we headed pubwards and ended up sharing a pint with a whole host of comics creators including my number #1 fan Mr Michael Georgiou, Mr David Wynne, Mr Huw “Lem” Davies, Mr Paul Fryer (who I can’t find a link for but is still awesome), Mr Jon Scrivens, Mr Daniel Goodbrey, Mr John Allison, Mr Tom McNally, and a host of others whos business cards were sadly lost to the ravages of booze and having to get the tube home!
Oh also there’s an exclusive Jambo story in the anthology for this convention, don’t worry if you didn’t get a copy because I’ll let you know as soon as they’re available online (or if that’s not gonna happen I’ll post it here!)
All this fun has made me decide to do more conventions this year! So I shall keep you posted about that! I’ll have to update my links section at some point too… oh yeah and I’ve gotta start drawing again!

Wow it’s been a while since I updated huh? I bet you’re wondering what the hell happened there? I’d hit my stride with the updating thing… or so it seemed!
Basically I moved house at the end of February and although I knew that was coming I didn’t really plan for it half as well as I should have, so updates vanished! I still don’t have internet there! I’m writing this post in a pub (so bare with me if I start to ramble!)
In more important news than my spectacular lack of foresight I have also been preparing for my upcoming appearance at the UK Thing 2010. You should totally come along if you’re in London that weekend, tickets are £3 and I’ll have a bunch of stuff to sell that’s never been seen online! Along with the print versions of Jambo #4 which arrived this weekend and look gorgeous! I should also mention that I’m sharing a table with the amazing Mr Aaron Murphy who’s art will no doubt put my meager efforts to shame but hey! Should still be a giggle!
I’m also taking part in DinoSawUs! Providing my stickers arrive in time for it! So come along to table 23 if you want to complete your set of convention stickers! And I’m in the anthology, so be sure to pick up one of those bad boys!
I’m going to relaunch a revamped website (complete with proper updates) after the convention! I’m even going to do something with NAS!

Ok so I have an announcement to make (which I might have already made now I think about it but screw it!): I will be attending this years Thing in London on March 27th. Tickets are now on sale from the website for £3! I’ll be sharing a table with the downright awesome Aaron “Smurph” Murphy and I’m sure it’ll be worth the admission just to see what he’s got to flog!
If you’re still interested then I’ll have copies of all the issues of The Mighty Jambo so far including the new issue! #4 is the conclusion of the first storyline and my longest issue to date! I’ll also have badges and some mini comics with material which has never appeared online! I might even draw something for you if you ask nicely!

Don’t you just hate it when people take advantage of your misfortune? I can understand why Cheezar is a little upset… and is it just me or does the scenario he describes sound oddly familiar?
Just sent issue #4 off to the printers but I’m still in the midst of moving house! Stressful isn’t the word! Exciting too though… I’ve also got some great ideas for the next storyarc once issue #5 kicks off (and it will be worth the wait!) I’m also prepping for The Thing so I’ll have some cool new stuff for you guys to come and pick up… including some stuff that’ll never appear online!
