Still working on customising this page (bit generic isn’t it?) but I’m glad I’ve got my archive posted. Which took longer than I’d have liked but hey- these things always do!

Anyway bare with me… I promise great things! Well… different more than great… well….

Stay tuned!

How’m I doing so far?

One thing I’ve not been able to try out yet on this thing is what happens when people comment, I think I’ve got this site running ok and I know the comics make me laugh (some of them) but I’d like to know what you think!

The great faceless online masses have yet to let me know either way! I can check the stats all I like but I’d still like a bit of feedback! So now I’m changing the rules, no more having to enter names or email addresses, or registering! Feel free to heckle all you like safe in your anonimity! I can always delete the abuse later if I find it all too much to bare!

It’s the only way I’ll learn!

You could always email me if you’d rather not make your thoughts public knowlege

Reliving My Childhood…

Monday, November 10th, 2008

His name is Jake Thackray and he should be a legend! My dad used to play his tapes in the car when we went on long journeys as a kid (somewhat censored but still superb) of course I didn’t understand most of it but I stumbled across a documentary about the fella on the bbc (not on the iPlayer cos it’s not aging celebrities making idiots of themselves trying to dance) and was reminded about how much I enjoyed his work and how criminal it is that more people don’t know who he is!

So to try and spread the word in my own little way here is “Brother Gorilla” by Jake Thackray, who was a shy retiring genius of a man who damn well should be a national institution; he died in 2002 at the age of 64.
